Victoria “Vicki” Ann Allen, 69, peacefully passed away January 26, 2019 in New Braunfels, Texas. The dear daughter of the late Robert Charles and Kathryn Sill Neilson was born March 19, 1949 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and lived most of her life in Houston, Texas. Vicki was the beloved wife and best friend of her one and only love of 50 years, James W. “Chip” Allen III of Houston, Texas. She is also survived by her son James W. “Jim” Allen IV, wife Angela of New Braunfels, Texas; son Timothy W. “Tim” Allen , wife Shara of Austin, Texas; grandchildren Sydney, Jenna, Kyla, Elizabeth, Will and James; sister, Leslie Rupard, husband Scott of Houston, Texas; and nephew, Blake Rupard. Vicki was passionate about spending time with her family at the bay and on the river, animals, and gardening. Special thanks to friend and caregiver, Juanita, who she loved very much. Thanks to Dr. Andrew Brenner, Dr. Richard Crownover, Dr. John Floyd, Hope Hospice, nurses Leah and Amanda, caregivers Willie, Joyce, and Elsa. Memorial service, 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 1 at Zoeller Funeral Home Chapel, 615 Landa Street, New Braunfels, Texas 78130. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Cancer Therapy and Research Center of San Antonio, The University of Texas Health Science Center of San Antonio or the American Cancer Society.
